Mother's Day Breakfast-In-bed Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Breakfast in bed for moms on their special day pampers them in a way that says, "I know you work really hard and we appreciate all that you do!" (At least, that's the way I like to interpret it..)
INGREDIENTS:
1 package Pepperridge Farms frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 egg mixed with 1 Tbsp water for egg wash
Filling:
1 8oz package cream cheese
1/4 c sugar
lemon of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix with mixer until smooth.
Icing:
1 c powdered sugar
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Cream to desired consistency (1-2+ Tbsp)
Mix and add cream until it's a consistency that will drizzle.
METHOD:
Cut each of the thawed puff pastry sheets into 4 equal squares. Fold corners in on all four sides of each square to create the "Danish" shape. Brush the egg wash all around the edges of the dough. Spoon 1-2 Tbsp of cream cheese filling onto the center of each Danish. Bake @ 400° for 18 minutes, or until nicely browned. With a spoon, drizzle as much icing around the top of the pastry as is desired.
